Cabarrus County , NC : 54- Years old Woman killed in crash on Monday night ,July 20th 2015

A 54-year-old woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Cabarrus County Monday night, officials say.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. on Robinson Church Road near Peach Orchard Road in Harrisburg. It appears that the woman ran off the road, overcorrected and hit a tree. The car overturned and the woman was pinned, officials say.

A medical helicopter responded to the scene. The woman's name has not been released.
