Hopkinsville,KY : Woman killed in Trigg County wreck on April, Monday 9th 2018

A woman was killed in a wreck Monday on U.S. 68 in Trigg County.

A car driven by Erica T. Nyakeraka, 35, Cadiz, was west on US 68 when a tractor-trailer driven by Virgil W. Litwiller, 70, Farmington, turned on to US 68 pulling into her path, according to a Kentucky State Police report.

Nyakeraka was taken to Trigg County Hospital were she later died, according to the report.

Emergency personnel at the scene said three others were taken to the hospital but the extent of the injuries are unknown.
