South Phoenix, AZ : Fatal collision investigated near Seventh Avenue and Alta Vista Road on Wednesday, 18th December, 2019 28 mins ago

Phoenix police investigated a fatal collision in south Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon.

The collision occurred near Seventh Avenue and Alta Vista Road, just south of Southern Avenue, said Phoenix Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Maggie Cox.

Details about the collision were not provided to The Arizona Republic by Wednesday night.

A Republic reporter at the scene saw a truck and a heavily damaged four-door sedan on a curb along the northbound lane of Seventh Avenue. There were also several unmarked police vehicles at the scene.
