Milwaukee,WI: Greenfield man putting gas in disabled vehicle struck, killed on I-43 near Holt Ave. on November, Saturday 11th 2017

A Greenfield man putting gas into his disabled vehicle along Interstate 43 was killed Saturday night after being struck by a passing vehicle, a statement from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said.

The driver of the vehicle who struck him, a 30-year-old man, pulled over on the left lane and ran across the interstate near Holt Avenue to offer aid. Another Good Samaritan attempted to give CPR until deputies and firefighters could respond, the MCSO statement said.


The victim was identified as 27-year-old Angelo Quin. His two passengers, a 58-year-old woman and a 6-year-old child, were not injured in the 9 p.m. crash.

The driver was not injured and gave a voluntary blood draw. He showed no signs of impairment, officials said.
