Portland, OR : Woman killed in Clackamas County crash on Monday, September 26, 2016

Deputies have publicly identified the Clackamas County Health, Housing, and Human Services client who was killed in a 2-car crash Monday.

They said Dona F. Suek, 54, was riding in a county minivan driven by Amber D. Asaro, who is an employee of the agency. A full-size SUV hit the passenger side of the minivan in an unincorporated part of Clackamas County northeast of Canby, according to a county sheriff's office spokesman.

Raymond C. Martin III, 57, was driving the SUV involved in the crash. He and Asaro, 42, have since been released from hospitals, the sheriff's office said in a news release. Both were cooperating with investigators Monday.

The crash happened Monday morning at the intersection of South Central Point and New Era roads.

Sgt. Dan Kraus, a sheriff's office spokesman, said Monday that investigators were working to determine whether Asaro stopped at a traffic control device — a stop sign or flashing red light — at the intersection. The SUV's driver didn't have a traffic control device, Kraus said.

Kraus didn't know Monday which car was traveling on which road. A 2012 Google Street View image of the intersection shows stop signs on Central Point Road.

Investigators don't believe either of the drivers were under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Kraus said Monday they were investigating whether either driver was distracted or speeding.

Suek had mobility problems, and Kraus said the minivan is modified for passengers with special needs. She was the minivan's only passenger, Kraus said.

He said Martin, a Beavercreek resident, was traveling alone in the SUV.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
