Glenwood, MN : 15-year-old girl was killed in Winona County on Sunday, 1st July 2018

A 15-year-old girl was killed late Saturday night in Winona County when she was ejected from a car and then run over, according to the State Patrol.

Gao Jer Vang of La Crosse, Wis., was riding in the back seat of a Toyota RAV4 when the driver fell asleep while heading east on I-90 in New Hartford Township near mile marker 271. The vehicle left the road and rolled over.

Vang, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the Toyota onto the road. She was struck by an eastbound Ford Fusion driven by Leaann Carol Bohn, 48, of Onalaska, Wis. Bohn wasn’t injured.
