Rutland, VT : New York woman airlifted after snowmobile crash on on Saturday, February 18th 2017

A New York woman was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after her snowmobile left the trail and hit a tree in Mount Holly, police said.
Kerri L. Meagher, 37 of Patchogue, New York, was snowmobiling near Shunpike Road and Lake Ninevah Road on Saturday afternoon when the accident happened, police said.
Vermont State Police said she suffered cuts and injuries to her head. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Mount Holly Volunteer Rescue, Ludlow Rescue and Mount Holly Fire Department also responded to the snowmobile crash.
