A 31-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning in Penn Township, according to Penn Township police.
The man, identified by the York County Coroner's Office as Jason Gilbert of Gettysburg, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle eastbound on Route 216 when he hit a tree in the area of Anthony Avenue around 2:10 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy determined Gilbert died accidentally of multiple blunt force trauma, according to the coroner's office.
Penn Township Police Department is investigating.
