WEST POINT, IA : 13-year-old teenager was killed in all-terrain vehicle accidenton Sunday, 24th June 2018

A 13-year-old teenager was killed about 9 a.m. Sunday when she was thrown from a Polaris UTV in which she was a passenger on Pilot Grove Road near West Point.

Abigail Marie “Abby” Denning, of Houghton, died about an hour after the accident at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, where she had been taken by ambulance.

Details of the accident are under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol with assistance from the Lee County Sheriff’s Department.
