Grove, NY : SafetyLiverpool man killed after car crashes into ditch in Southern Tier on Saturday, 28th November, 2020

An Onondaga County man was killed Saturday in a one-car accident in the Southern Tier.

Brian J. Hitchcock, of Liverpool, died after the car he was riding in crashed into a ditch and flipped over in Allegany County, said the New York State Police. He was 43 years old.

The accident happened at 8:53 p.m. Saturday on state Route 70 in Grove.

William J. Hitchcock Jr., 48, of Livonia, was driving north on Route 70 when he veered off the road, troopers said. His vehicle hit a ditch and overturned, troopers said.
