Marion, KY : Man injured in crash involving deer on US 60 in Crittenden County on Sunday night, Nov 15, 2015
A man was injured Sunday night following a crash involving a deer in Crittenden County.
According to a preliminary investigation by Kentucky State Police, a car was traveling east on US 60 just before 11 p.m. when it struck a deer. The deer became airborne and was struck by a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 traveling the opposite direction.
The deer entered the cab of the pickup truck injuring the driver, a 21-year-old man from Marion. He was transported by ambulance to Crittenden Health Systems and then flown to Deaconess in Evansville, IN for treatment.
The driver of the car was not injured.
KSP is investigating.
