One man was killed and one critically injured in a fatal crash Sunday morning when the driver of their vehicle lost control of the car, leaving the roadway and overturning several times. According to a Florida Highway Patrol accident report, the Beverly Hills driver, 23, and his passenger, Bronson T. Steinbrook, 28, of Citrus Springs, were traveling at high speed on North Citrus Avenue while approaching West Sleepyoak Court in Crystal River. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and overturned several times before landing in front of the Crystal River United Methodist Church. Steinbrook was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital, where he is recovering from serious critical injuries in the hospital’s intensive care unit. The driver died at the scene.
