Boone County, IA : One dead, two injured in 3-vehicle crash on Highway 17 in Boone County on Monday, November 3, 2014

The Iowa State Patrol said at least one person has died in a multi-car crash on Highway 17 in Boone County on Monday. The crash was reported at 8:52 a.m. at T Avenue and 190th Street, which is just northeast of Boone. Matthew Graham, 37, of Webster City, was killed in the crash. Katrena Gillis, 32, of Stratford, was taken to Boone County Hospital. Martin Frederickson, 70, of West Des Moines, was also taken to Boone County Hospital. The State Patrol crash report shows Gillis and Graham were southbound on T Avenue at 190th Street when Graham's car slowed or stopped to make a left turn. Troopers said Gillis' car rearended Graham's vehicle. It was pushed into the northbound lane, where it was hit by Frederickson's car. Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.
