RAYNHAM, MA : Bridgewater motorcyclist seriously injured in Raynham crash on Monday, 10th September 2018

A 33-year-old Bridgewater man suffered serious injuries during a crash while riding his Honda CBR-900 motorcycle in Raynham on Monday morning, before he was rushed to a hospital in Rhode Island, according to public safety officials.

Raynham police and firefighters both responded to the serious motorcycle crash near the intersection of Route 138 and Route 495 during the Monday morning commute. The man driving the motorcycle was transported by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital.

“Upon arrival, first responders located the male operator of a motorcycle off the road near a wooded area with a serious leg injury,” according to a joint statement from the chiefs of the Raynham police and fire departments. “His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time.”

The crash took place around 6:15 a.m. on Broadway, as part of Route 138, at the on-ramp for Route 495 South, Raynham police said.
