PERRY TWP, OH : A couple of motorists escaped serious injury on April, Friday 14th 2017

A couple of motorists escaped serious injury Friday when a car flipped onto its top during a two-vehicle crash.

Police Chief Mike Pomesky said a driver of one of the vehicles was transported to an area hospital with apparent non-life threatening injuries following the crash, which occurred about 1:30 p.m. on Tuscarawas Street W and Perry Drive SW in front of the Sheetz gas station. The other driver declined medical attention at the scene.

The crash is under investigation, said Pomesky, who was uncertain whether anyone would be charged with a traffic citation.

Further details were not immediately available Friday.
