Monett,MO : Aurora man injured in motorcycle wreck on may, Saturday 27th 2017

An Aurora man was seriously injured in a wreck Saturday in Route EE, five miles east of Cape Fair.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Andrew Gaston, 27, of Aurora, was driving a 2003 Harley Davidson 20C westbound when his vehicle lost control and crossed the center line, striking the front of an eastbound 2012 GMC Acadia, being driven by Shannon Brewer, 44, of Aurora.

Gaston was thrown off the bike and suffered serious injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Brewer was not injured.

Brewer was wearing a safety device, and Gaston was not. Damage to the GMC was extensive, and the Harley was totaled.
