DETROIT,MI : 1 dead after speed leads to 2 crashes on I-75 near 8 Mile on Thursday, 11th April 2024

One person was killed after speed led to two crashes that happened at nearly the same time on I-75 at Eight Mile on Thursday morning, Michigan State Police said.

Both crashes happened when it was dark and rainy around 5:45 a.m.

According to MSP, a 37-year-old Oak Park man in a Chevrolet SUV lost control while speeding. His vehicle slid across all lanes and hit the bridge support on the right side of the road.
