CHEROKEE COUNTY, SC : A fatal crash in Cherokee County on February, Thursday 22nd 2018

Troopers were investigating a fatal crash in Cherokee County on Thursday.

The call came in just after 7 p.m.

Troopers said the road was blocked where the crash happened along SC 11 near Frontier Drive.

Injuries were initially reported in the crash, and troopers said later that at least one person has died.

According to SC Highway Patrol, a Toyota SUV was traveling north on SC 11 when it struck the rear of a Toyota pickup truck facing north and attempting to turn left after traffic cleared. Troopers say the SUV then struck BMW SUV and overturned.

The driver of the Toyota SUV was pronounced dead on scene. The coroner identified the victim as 46-year-old Harold Lynn Cobb of Chesnee Hwy.
