BRIDGEPORT, CT : 2-year-old dies, two adults injured in crash involving utility pole on Tuesday, 6th February 2024

A 2-year-old boy was killed, and two adults were injured in a car crash involving a utility pole in Bridgeport Tuesday morning.

Bridgeport police say the crash happened just after 6:00 a.m. near Reservoir Ave and Saunders Ave.

According to police the driver of a silver 2005 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Reservoir Road when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a UI utility pole. The Honda Accord came to a rest on a tree off the northbound side of the road.

Police said a 29-year-old man was driving and his passengers were a 30-year-old woman and a 2-year-old infant.
