Brainerd,MN : Crash injures 19-year-old driver on May,Sunday 20th 2018

A 19-year-old man was injured when the Volkswagen Jetta he was driving crashed about 8 p.m. Sunday on Highway 200, west of Aitkin County Highway 10 in Ball Bluff Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Michael P. Gifford of Virginia was east on Highway 200, when the Jetta hit the shoulder, overcorrected and rolled into the ditch. Gifford was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to the Grand Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids.


The Aitkin County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
