Lorain County, OH : New London woman killed, three seriously injured in Rochester Township crash on Sunday, September 25, 2016
A New London woman was killed in a car wreck after police say she pulled her car in front of a truck at a stop sign.
According to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Judy Pullin, 69, of Cook Road, was driving a black 2009 Pontiac Vibe west on State Route 162 around 6:42 p.m. Sunday. She failed to yield from a stop sign at the intersection of 511, and pulled into the intersection, where she was struck by a white Ford F150 pickup truck, which did not have a stop sign. Both vehicles overturned and went off the road.
Pullin, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford F150 was driven by Jeffrey E. Seanor, 68, of Louisville, with two passengers: Laura Nelson, 51, and Karen Seanor, 74, all of Louisville. The patrol said all three sustained incapacitating injuries. Jeffrey Seanor and Nelson, both of whom were wearing seat belts, were transported to Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin, while Karen Seanor was flown by LifeFlight to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation.
