Columbia, TN : Tennessee Highway Patrol investigates crash involving 15 passenger van in Maury County on Sunday, July 31, 2016

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a multiple vehicle crash on I-65 near Sylvester Chunn Highway.

The crash occurred Sunday around 9:30 a.m.

It was a two vehicle accident. One of the vehicles was a 15 passenger van that rolled over.

Maury County, Spring Hill, and Columbia Fire Departments worked together to rescue two people trapped inside each vehicle.

11 of the people involved in the accident were transported to area hospitals, including five that were taken to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
