Authorities said witnesses stopped to give medical aid to the woman in the Echo, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the woman was being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's Office, authorities said.According to Gordon, the man driving the van suffered minor injuries, was treated by San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters and refused medical aid.
