LACEY’S SPRING, AL : 90-year-old killed in Laceys spring two-vehicle wreck on Hwy. 231 in on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

A two-vehicle wreck that happened on Wednesday morning has claimed the life of 90-year-old Huntsville man.

Robert R. Barnes Jr., 90 was critically injured when the 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis he was driving was hit by a 2008 Porsche Cayenne driven by 43-year-old Jorge Pedraza.

Barnes’ vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch after the initial impact. He was transported to Crestwood Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
