Stanley, N.D : 89-year-old woman dies after pickup truck rolls near Stanley on Sunday, July 10, 2016

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the 89-year-old woman who died in a crash Sunday near Stanley.

The Highway Patrol says the woman was Stanley resident Elaine Lystad.

Authorities say 97-year-old Kenneth Lystad, also of Stanley, drove off the shoulder of the road Sunday afternoon and attempted to correct the pickup truck, but it spun clockwise, entered the ditch and rolled.

The truck came to a rest on its top at the edge of a hay field. Authorities say Elaine Lystad, the only passenger, was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Highway Patrol says crash remains under investigation.
