Madison Heights , VA :Victim's name released in deadly Madison Heights crash on Thursday , June 18th 2015

The identity of the woman who died in a three-vehicle crash in Madison Heights on Thursday afternoon has been released.Virginia State Police Spokeswoman Corinne Geller
said in an email Friday evening, Trooper P.M. Bourque responded to the three-vehicle wreck on U.S. 29 Business, about 2.5 miles from Dillard Road.Bourque determined a
2008 Ford F-350 was traveling south on U.S. 29 Business at 1:22 p.m. when it slowed to make a left turn into a parking lot. As it turned, the truck hit a 1999 Honda
Accord traveling north. The impact pushed the Accord into a northbound 2008 Toyota Scion.Anne D. Davis, 70, of Lynchburg, drove the Honda. She was transported to
Lynchburg General Hospital where she died Thursday.Michael R. Elder, 59, of Lynchburg, was driving the truck and was not injured in the crash. He was charged with
failing to yield the right of way.Carlton H. Anderson, Jr. 40, of Madison Heights, drove the Scion and was treated at the scene for minor injuries.The crash remains
under investigation.
