Baytown, TX : Woman killed in crash involving big rig on I-10 in Baytown on Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2017

A woman has died from injuries suffered during a crash involving an 18-wheeler Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on I-10 East Freeway east near Wade Road. A tractor trailer rig and a car were involved in the crash.

Janice Brown, 71, died as a result of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.

All main lanes of the East Freeway were shut down during the emergency.
