A man was booked into the Snohomish County jail on suspicion of vehicular assault after a car accident about a mile west of here around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Lake Stevens man, 43, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro westbound on Highway 92 when he apparently lost control and hit a Honda Civic traveling eastbound. A Shoreline man, 26, was driving the Honda.
The Washington State Patrol said both men were injured and taken to Providence Hospital in Everett. The Shoreline man was listed in stable condition on Sunday afternoon.
The Lake Stevens man was booked into the jail. The Washington State Patrol believes drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
