Montgomery County, PA : Child injured in Douglass Township crash on Wednesday evening, May 18, 2016
A one-vehicle accident in Douglass Township left a 2-year-old passenger injured Wednesday evening.
The accident happened about 6:15 p.m. when a car driven by an 18-year-old Boyertown resident veered off the roadway in the 100 block of Colebrookdale Road, colliding with some trees and brush. The car came to a rest off the side of the road.
A 2-year-old child in the back seat was bleeding from the head after the accident and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The driver wasn't injured.
Colebrookdale Road was shut down between Pine Forge and Winding roads for 30 minutes. The car had to be towed from the scene.
