Orange County, FL : Motorcyclist dead after hit-and-run crash in Orange County on Monday, 27th January, 2020

A 38-year-old male motorcyclist is dead in Orange County after he was hit head-on by a male driver who ran away from the crash on foot early Monday morning, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was identified as Jonatanael Torres of Orlando, said FHP spokeswoman Kim Montes. Authorities have not released any information on the driver and are trying to locate him or her.
Torres was driving his 2015 Yamaha west on West Taft Vineland Road near the Satellite Boulevard intersection when a 2013 Mazda traveling east drifted into the opposite lane and struck Torres head-on, Montes said.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.
