Fitchburg,WI: Two Pepole Injured in crash between a car and a truck in Dane County near McCoy Road on Monday Evening, 17th November 2014

Alcohol is believed to have contributed to a head-on crash in Dane County Monday evening between a car and a truck, authorities said. The crash was reported shortly after 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 14 near McCoy Road in Fitchburg, according to a news release from the Fitchburg Police Department. According to the release, a car driven by a 62-year-old woman from Illinois crossed the centerline and collided with a truck driven by a 59-year-old Waunakee man. The drivers were the lone occupants of the vehicles and both were taken to hospitals with injuries that are not life-threatening.
