Wrightstown, WI : 28-year-old Jeremy James Nutt injured when milk truck, SUV collide head-on near Wrightstown on Wednesday, March 2, 2016
A sport-utility vehicle and a milk truck collided head-on Wednesday, sending one man to a Green Bay hospital.
The crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. at the Interstate 41 Frontage Road and Outagamie County U.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said the 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed the center line and was struck by the truck. The driver of the Jeep, 28-year-old Jeremy James Nutt of Wrightstown, was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay with injuries that did not appear life-threatening.
A spokesman for County Rescue Services' Eagle III helicopter said the driver was conscious as he was rushed to the hospital.
Troopers said 49-year-old Gary Gerard Beining of Wrightstown, who was driving the truck, was unhurt.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
No tickets have been issued. The investigation continues.
Firefighters from Wrightstown and Greenleaf responded, as did officers from the Brown County Sheriff's Office and Wrightstown Police Department.
