DETROIT LAKES, MN : Detroit Lakes crash results in injuries, charges along Highway 10 on Sunday 9th September 2018

Two women were taken to the hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening after a crash along Highway 10. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, alcohol was a factor in the crash, which took place at 1:32 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9.

A Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Kelly Wurst, 36, of Detroit Lakes with passenger Jennifer Tappe, 33, of Frazee, Minn., was eastbound on Highway 10. A Jeep Liberty driven by Melanie Turcotte, 27, of Detroit Lakes was crossing Highway 10 and pulled into the path of the oncoming Pontiac, resulting in a T-bone crash.
