Charlotte County, NC :Expect Delays Due to I-75 S Crash on Monday, June 29th 2015

A tractor trailer crashed on southbound I-75 Monday, causing delays for drivers. The crash happened near mile marker 125, between Corkscrew Road and Alico Road.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report, no charges will be filed, and there was no contributing cause from the driver; a tire simply blew, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle whipped across all three southbound lanes of I-75 toward the median, pushing through the guardrail and into the grass. The impact of striking the guardrail caused the trailers to separate from the truck tractor. It appears the trucks’ trailers and payload all came to rest in the median. No injuries have been reported, according to Lt. Greg Bueno, a spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol, and troopers are still on scene.
