Chambers County, AL : Marcus Glenn Lacy, 46, died after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in Valley on Sunday evening, April 24, 2016

A single-vehicle crash Sunday claimed the life of a Valley man, according to officials with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Corporal Jess Thornton says Marcus Glenn Lacy, 46, was killed when the 2007 Kia Spectra he was driving left Chambers County road 388 and struck a culvert. Lacy, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened about eight miles west of Valley. It remains under investigation.
