Washington Court House, OH : A single occupant accident on Wednesday, June 21, 2017

A single occupant accident occurred at approximately noon Wednesday on Yeoman Road in Fayette County. According to Fayette County Sheriff’s Office deputy Andy Parks, the driver was a juvenile and was transported to the emergency department at Fayette County Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. “We believe it was a tire failure,” said Parks. According to Parks, the driver left the right side of the road, over-corrected, crossed the center line, over-corrected again and then went into the ditch striking a pine tree. DP&L was called to the scene to fix a powerline that was brought down during the accident.
