Milwaukee, WI : Robert D. Tolbert, 41, died in motorcycle crash near W. Dakota St. on Saturday, May 2, 2015

The motorcyclist killed in a weekend crash in Milwaukee has been identified as Robert D. Tolbert, Milwaukee police said Monday.

Tolbert, 41, of Milwaukee, was heading north on S. 13th when he hit a 1999 Chrysler near W. Dakota St. about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police. Police said he died at the scene and was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the car, a 34-year-old man, was westbound on Dakota, remained a the scene of the crash and cooperated with investigators, police said.

Authorities said alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
