YAKIMA, WA : Multi-car crash near Toppenish ordered held on U.S. Highway 97 on Saturday, 8th September 2018

A 21-year-old Toppenish man was ordered held in lieu of $20,000 bail after a Saturday night crash that injured six people, two seriously.

Artimeo Crisostomo-Regis was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro south on U.S. Highway 97 shortly after 9 p.m. when Washington State Patrol troopers said he ran a red light. The car collided with a 2015 Ford Taurus that was making a left turn from the eastbound lane of Fort Road, according to a probable-cause affidavit.The Taurus was then pushed into a Yakama Nation Tribal police vehicle and Toyota Echo that were heading east on Fort Road, the affidavit said.
