Canandaigua ,NY : 11-year-old injured in car crash on Tuesday ,July 14th 2015

One girl is in the hospital after a crash in Canandaigua.
Sheriff's deputies say Joshua Doornbos, 38, of Michigan was driving with an 11-year-old girl on Lakeshore Drive. They say when he was turning left, he collided with a car driven by an 18-year-old man from Livonia.
The 11-year-old girl suffered abrasions to her face and was taken to FF Thompson Hospital for treatment. The 18-year-old suffered an arm injury but refused to be taken to the hospital. Doornbos was not injured.
Deputies say both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Doornbos was given a ticket for failure to yield on a left turn.
