McColl, SC : Clio man killed in car crash on Highway 381 in Marlboro County on Wednesday afternoon, April 15, 2015

Clarence William Huggins, 45, of Clio died in a single car crash Wednesday afternoon off of SC Highway 381 near McColl in Marlboro County, according to Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown.

Brown said Huggins was pronounced dead at the scene.

He added Huggins ran off the road and crashed into a tree. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened around 4 p.m.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
