Allentown, PA : Motorist, 75, probably died before Monroe crash into pole, police say on Wednesday, 23rd May 2018

The 75-year-old driver who was found dead in his car Sunday night in Monroe County probably died before the car crashed into a utility pole, police said Wednesday.

Rupert P. Crawford of Bushkill, Pike County, was in his car after the vehicle hit the pole about 8:35 p.m. on Route 209, just west of River Road, in Middle Smithfield Township, state police at Stroudsburg said.
