Lakeville, MA : Fritch man died in vehicle rollover crash on Friday December 4 2015

A Lakeville South High School student injured in a Friday crash that killed two of his friends returned to school Monday to help his classmates grieve.
Principal John Braun said students were relieved to find Mason Kohlbeck, 18, in the school auditorium Monday when they gathered to mourn the loss of their classmates and meet with counselors.
He was here and felt it was extremely important for him to be here to help our other students," Braun said, calling Kohlbeck an "amazing young man."
A single-car accident after school Friday killed Jacob Flynn, 17, and John Price, 18, and injured Kohlbeck and Alexander Hughes, 17, who is believed to have been the driver.
Kohlbeck was released from the hospital Saturday, and Hughes remains at Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition.
Dakota County sheriff's deputies continue to investigate whether distracted driving caused by "Nerf Wars" was a factor in the crash. Deputies planned to examine the truck Monday to try to determine how fast it was traveling and how it flipped on 225th Street west of Dodd Boulevard about 3 p.m. Friday.
Dakota County Sheriff Tim Leslie said he would not provide updates on the investigation until after the students' funerals. Leslie said Sunday that he did not know if Nerf guns were found in the truck.
Lakeville Police Chief Jeff Long said "Nerf Wars" is a popular game across Minnesota and the U.S.
Long described it as a "teenage version of Capture the Flag," using Nerf guns that shoot foam bullets with rubber tips.
Lakeville police have handled no cases of distracted driving linked to "Nerf Wars," Long said. Police did investigate an incident of a student being "captured" at a Lakeville gas station about two years ago and no charges were filed.
Braun and Lakeville schools Superintendent Lisa Snyder said there have been no reports of "Nerf Wars" at Lakeville schools.
