Chatham County, GA: 34-year-old Dominique Mallet died in crash along I-16 EB on Wesnesday, August 5th 2015

The identity of the driver killed in the accident on I-16 EB near Pooler Pkwy Wednesday morning has been identified.Dominique Mallet, 34, of Ellabell, died on scene.According to the Georgia State Patrol, at around 8 a.m., Mallet was driving a black pickup truck too closely to a tractor-trailer in heavy traffic and hit the tractor-trailer with such great force the truck was pinned underneath.The driver of the tractor-trailer was not seriously injured and was able to leave the scene. No one else was injured or involved.

Identity of driver killed in I-16 EB accident on Wednesday released
