A 16-year-old Norwich boy died after his homemade go-cart flipped during a crash in Montville.

State police say Christopher Smith was riding near Caroline Drive Sunday afternoon when to go-cart rolled over several times.

Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

A GoFundMe page was set up to raise money for funeral expenses, and had received almost $900 in donations by Monday morning.
