Brown Deer, WI : One person killed and another injured in a one-vehicle crash near Teutonia Avenue and Dean Road on Tuesday, December 1, 2015

One person was killed in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Brown Deer, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said.

The crash happened about 1:38 p.m. near Teutonia Avenue and Dean Road.

The Brown Deer Police Department said the SUV was traveling northbound on Teutonia Avenue when it hit a concrete sign in front of a car wash.

Three other people, including a child, survived the crash, but the driver was trapped and had to be extricated. That person died at the scene. The child was taken to Children's Hospital, according to the North Shore Fire Department.

The name of the driver is not yet being released.

Brown Deer police said speed may have been a factor in the crash.
