Two people are dead following a rollover crash on Interstate 24, and police are still searching for two other male passengers who reportedly ran from the scene.
The wreck happened around 7 p.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes near the exit for Harding Place.
Police said 24-year-old Angel Garcia was speeding when he lost control of his 2000 Ford Expedition, causing the SUV to overturn several times.
Garcia died at the scene. His passenger, 26-year-old Jonathan Iruegar, was ejected from the vehicle and later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Witnesses told police they saw two other male passengers crawl out from the vehicle and run away.
I-24 was closed for hours in the area on Sunday as crews cleared the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
