A 50-year-old man was struck by one car and run over by another in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Demostenes Molinar Jr., of Orlando, died in the crash, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Orange Blossom Trail at Clarcona Ocoee Road.
According to the FHP, Molinar walked into the path of a 2000 Toyota Camry, which hit him and propelled him into another lane. Another car, described by the FHP as a white Nissan four-door, ran over Molinar, and the driver left the scene, troopers said.
The Nissan likely has damage to its front end and undercarriage, troopers said.

An investigation is continuing and charges are pending, the FHP said.
