Overnight crash damages tree, utility pole

A car veered off road, hitting a tree and utility pole early Sunday morning.

Bellingham Police tell Eyewitness News two people were injured in the car when it crashed at the intersection of Paine and Winter Streets around 2:30 am. One of those people was transported to the hospital via Medflight. Right now, police are still investigating the crash and do not have an update on either passenger, or any charges that could be filed.
