Two people were injured Thursday after the car they were riding in collided with a pickup in north Mooresville.
The names and conditions of the injured parties were not released. According to Kim Sellers, a spokeswoman for the Town of Mooresville, one patient was transported to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
The accident occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Oakridge Farm Highway, Selma Drive and Overhead Bridge Road. It involved a white Chevrolet pickup and a silver Honda sedan.
The driver of the pickup, Mark Bahr, said he received minor scrapes and bruises after the car T-boned his truck. He claimed the car entered the intersection from Overhead Bridge Road while he was traveling east on Oakridge Farm.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Mooresville officials did not release additional information. It was unknown Thursday if charges will be filed against either driver.
