COLUMBUS, OH : Police Person killed when struck by vehicle in south Columbus on Tuesday, 26th December 2023

The Franklin County Coroner's Office has identified the 42-year-old woman who was killed in an apparent hit-and-run crash in south Columbus on Christmas.

Police said a body was found at Fairwood Avenue and Smith Road around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. The person was pronounced dead at 7:52 a.m.

Police said the woman, identified as Alisha Spence, was walking when she was hit by a car. The driver of the car was also an adult and detectives believe the crash happened on Christmas.
